The Power of Clarity-

Hovland Musician Plugs Into The Sun

by Chris Casey:

Michael Monroe records his albums at his solar powered log cabin MisTree Studio on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

A secluded location in Hovland, MN provided him with the inspiration to create and record his unique style of music in harmony with nature. In 2005, Michael moved the studio from Hovland to Grand Marais, MN. View the new studio.
